Caravan & Trailer Towing Prices
We aim to offer fair, transparent pricing for caravan, boat and trailer transport across the UK. Every job is quoted individually based on distance, access, vehicle size and how flexible your dates are.
Our average guide rate is around £2.00 per mile, with shorter journeys costing a little more per mile and longer journeys often working out cheaper per mile.

How We Work Out Your Towing Price
Every journey is slightly different, so we don’t publish a rigid price list. Instead, we quote based on:
- ✔ Distance between collection and delivery
- ✔ Size and weight of your caravan, boat or trailer
- ✔ Site access (narrow lanes, steep drives, tight pitches, etc.)
- ✔ How much notice you can give us
- ✔ Whether your dates and times are fixed or flexible
As a guide, many jobs work out at around £2.00 per mile, but shorter moves may be slightly higher per mile to allow for minimum time and fuel costs, while longer journeys can often be cheaper per mile.
The more notice and flexibility you give us, the better we can plan routes, combine jobs and reduce your price.
Example UK Towing Prices (Guide Only)
These examples are to give you a feel for typical costs. Your quote may be higher or lower depending on access, timings, vehicle size and how flexible your dates are.
Example 1 – Short Local Move (Caravan)
Journey: Storage site on the outskirts of Leicester to a nearby holiday park (approx. 40 miles).
Because this is a relatively short distance, a minimum charge applies and the effective rate per mile is slightly higher.
Guide price: Around £100–£120 (roughly £2.50–£3.00 per mile).
Example 2 – Medium Distance (Caravan or Boat)
Journey: Birmingham area to the South Coast (e.g. Portsmouth / Southampton), approx. 150 miles.
This is the sort of journey where our average guide rate of around £2.00 per mile is typical, depending on access and dates.
Guide price: Around £280–£320 (roughly £1.85–£2.15 per mile).
Example 3 – Long Distance (Caravan, Boat or Trailer)
Journey: Manchester to Cornwall, approx. 320 miles.
Over longer distances, the effective rate per mile is often lower, especially if you can be flexible on dates so we can plan efficient routes.
Guide price: Around £500–£550 (roughly £1.55–£1.75 per mile).
Please note: These prices are examples only and not fixed quotes. Your actual price will depend on your exact route, vehicle size, access, notice period and date flexibility.
Why Flexible Dates Can Save You Money
When you give us plenty of notice and a window of possible dates, we can:
- Match your job with other bookings in the same region
- Plan more efficient routes and reduce empty running
- Offer better value per mile than last-minute fixed dates
If your dates are very tight (for example, a specific ferry or storage deadline), we can usually still help – but the price may be closer to or above our average per-mile rate, because we have less flexibility to combine your journey with others.
